At Ashcombe High, everyone knows everyone.
Or at least, they know what they're supposed to know.
Missy Walsh, suddenly thrown into a world of old-money families, unspoken social rules, wild parties, fiery competitions, academic rivalry and friendships that seem to come with decades of history attached, will meet Aiden Young and Nate Crawford.
Aiden is charming, reckless and impossible not to laugh with. Nate is polished, magnetic and seemingly incapable of letting anyone get too close. They couldn't be more different.
They also happen to absolutely despise each other.
As Missy becomes closer with both of them, she'll slowly realise that their hatred is far from teenage stupidity, and instead, could be rooted in a truly dark secret.
Between late-night conversations, arguments, parties, tennis matches and the occasional questionable decision, she'll try to navigate this world and her heart to the best of her abilities.
Which unfortunately, are quite short-sided.
