Karkat is a self-loathing, overweight albino who is in his first year of High School. He is always harassed by his brother about his weight, or his nonexistent relationships, or his overall pathetic demeanor. At least you have two friends, Tavros and Gamzee, who help you along.
But then this girl shows up.

Jace Summers is someone who is always true to himself no matter what anyone else thinks of him, and he's proud of who he is. He has pastel pink hair, stunning deep brown eyes, and a sweet and silky voice that makes all of the girls swoon. Too bad he's gay though. Karkat Vantas. A very unpopular, short, and short-tempered troll. He tries desperately to make it through his first year in a human school, but with everyone still not fully accepting trolls added on with his so-called 'stupid' blood color, he can't find a single person who understands him, yet.
