But behind the mask is Felicia Hardy, a girl with a complicated past, a life she's never intended to talk about, and more secrets than Peter could ever imagine.

Their first encounter should have been simple: Spider-Man catches Black Cat and turns her over to the police.

Too bad nothing between them is ever simple.

Between rooftop chases across Manhattan, missions that force them to work together, teasing, arguments, and a tension that becomes harder and harder to ignore, Peter and Felicia slowly begin to get closer.

He discovers that behind the confident thief is a girl who learned a long time ago not to trust anyone.

She discovers that behind Spider-Man's mask is still a boy desperately trying to do the right thing.

And as the line between enemies, allies, and something much more complicated begins to blur, they will both have to decide how much they're willing to risk for each other.

Because falling for the wrong person is already dangerous.
