Thousands of years ago, the planet Mobius was shattered by a devastating meteor. Forced to flee their homeland, the Mobian race crash-landed on Earth. Now, in the year 2030, humans and Mobians live side-by-side in a neon-lit, high-tech world where pieces of old Mobius have been rebuilt into the landscape.
In this world, a rare genetic trait known as Ixis Magic grants incredible powers to a select few. Enter Sonic the Hedgehog: a fifteen-year-old, homeless street artist who spends his days dodging his aquaphobia, parkouring through alleyways, and leaving his signature blue graffiti-#SONICWASHERE-on every wall he can find.
Sonic thinks his biggest problem is evading the police, but his midnight vandalism has pushed a certain thirty-year-old billionaire tech-genius over the edge. Dr. Eggman has officially formed the W.H.S. (We Hate Sonic) Agency, recruiting a rogue gallery of villains-including his portal-wielding, number-one fanboy Dr. Starline-to wipe Sonic off the map for good.
With the W.H.S. closing in and mysterious magical artifacts like the Chaos Emeralds scattering across the globe, Sonic will have to rely on his brother Tails, his hot-headed rival Knuckles, and his secret G.U.N. agent boyfriend, Shadow the Hedgehog, to protect their new home.
