After losing the most important person in her life, Eleanor learns just how short and precious life can be.

She writes about Willow Falls, a town suspended in an endless spring, where cobblestone streets wind beneath lush trees, wildflowers bloom along every path, waterfalls spill beneath the shade of overhanging trees, and thunderstorms roll through the sky every night. A place filled with the kind of magic she wishes existed in her own life.

When she sleeps, she dreams of the town she created, but when she wakes, she finds herself back in the reality she longs to escape. But with every visit, it begins to feel more real.

Until a man appears, someone Eleanor never wrote into the story, yet somehow knows her in a way no one else ever has. As their bond deepens, Eleanor finds herself looking forward to nightfall for more than just an escape. Willow Falls begins to feel less like a dream and more like the life she was meant to have.

Until one morning, she wakes in Willow Falls, and doesn't return to her own life. Now Eleanor must unravel the mystery of the world she created and find a way back to her own body before it's too late.

But the longer she stays, the more she begins to wonder if going home is really what she wants.
