What We Are (13 going on 30)

At thirteen, he has a perfect plan: become popular, get Tom-Tom to like him, make Dokyeom notice him, and leave childhood-and all its embarrassing insecurities-behind.
Then, on the night of his birthday, Jungkook makes a wish.
He wants to be thirty.
He wants to skip the awkward years, the uncertainty, the waiting.

Disclaimer:

This fanfiction is entirely inspired by the film "13 Going on 30", one of my all-time favorite movies.

The dialogues are adapted from or inspired by the screenplay of the original film, which I found on this wonderful website http://www.script-o-rama.com/oldindex.shtml/ . I am sincerely grateful to the people who made that script available, as it was an invaluable reference while writing this story.

All rights and credits for the original story, characters, dialogue, screenplay, and concept belong entirely to the creators, writers, producers and rihgts holders of "13 Going on 30"-and everyone involved in bringing the film to life. I claim no ownership over any of the original material and take no credit for the ideas that originated from the movie. Where applicable, dialogue and scenes adapted from the original screenplay are used in homage to the source material. This is a non-commercial transformative fanwork created for entertainment purposes only.
This work is not intended to replace or reproduce the original film, but rather to reinterpret its premise through a Taekook AU. As stated, this Taekook fanfiction is simply intended as a heartfelt tribute to a film that has meant so much to me over the years. It is a small celebration of my love for both "13 Going on 30" and Taekook, reimagining a story I deeply cherish through the lens of two characters I love equally.
But please note that any resemblance to real people is purely coincidental. Any references to real individuals are entirely fictional and have been used solely for dramatic and storytelling purposes.
Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it
