Ashley Callahan knows exactly how her world works.

Cheerleader. Popular. A family that expects a lot from her. A boyfriend everyone at school knows. And a life comfortable enough that she's never had much reason to wonder what happens to the people on the other side of it.

Matt is one of those people.

The weird kid in band shirts, oversized clothes, and permanently messy hair. The nerd the football players have been using as entertainment for far too long.
