Valentina Caldev has always believed that people can be difficult.

Caleb is proof.

Cold. Unreadable. Irritatingly calm. The kind of person who can ruin her entire morning with one look and somehow make it seem like it was her fault.

So when Valentina returns to university after the holidays and discovers that a housing mistake has left her sharing a room with him for the entire semester, she is understandably furious.
