What the Weave Remembers

The first time Elysera Vale woke, she remembered nothing.
Not her past.
Not the blood.
Not the monster hiding somewhere inside her.
So she began keeping a journal.
She wrote down everything-the people she met, the lives they saved, the lives they couldn't, and the strange family they became along the way.
What she didn't know was that one of her companions was reading it.
What she didn't know was that they were writing back.
And when her journey finally ended, Elysera closed the journal with one final wish:
I wish the journey had never ended.
Then she woke up at the beginning.
Her memories were gone.
The journal remained.
And someone had written beneath her final words:
