THE 13TH PANEL

Some stories were never meant to be drawn.

Vivan Mehra finds an old comic book hidden inside an abandoned building.

It has no author.

No publisher.

No release date.

Just one strange title:

THE 13TH PANEL.

The first twelve panels are already drawn.

They're disturbing-but harmless.

Until Vivan notices something impossible.

The comic is predicting things that haven't happened yet.

At first, they're small things.

A phone call.

A stranger on the street.

A conversation he's about to have.

Then the panels begin showing events that are happening while Vivan is reading them.

And then comes the problem.

The thirteenth panel is blank.

Every night, Vivan opens the comic again.

Every night, a little more of the panel appears.

Until he realizes the drawings aren't predicting his future anymore.

They're creating it.

With his friend Ira, Vivan begins investigating the comic's mysterious past and the disappearance of its previous owner.

But the deeper they go, the more they discover that every reader of the comic has eventually reached the same page.

Panel 13.

And the final drawing has always been the same.

A person sitting alone.

Holding a comic.

Reading.

Vivan thought he was reading the story.

He was wrong.

The story was reading him.
