Bringing Bane Back[On hold] [Sorry]

[[[[ I gripped the branch with all my might, the little prickly bark pieces piercing into my skin. But I didn't register the pain, too intent on watching the figure across the lake. It bent down, oblivious to the little stalker it had managed to pick up, and lapped some water up. My eyes followed it's every movement, wondering if all this was really happening. From what I heard, this wasn't an everyday occurrence, heck, it doesn't even happen every year! Was it a dream? The pain the branch was providing told me otherwise.
Suddenly, the figure's head shot up, it's eyes narrowing in on me.

Calla Meath is unusual. She didn't freak out when she heard she was adopted. She doesn't want to live in Los Angeles, 'where dreams come true', preferring to live in the countryside in isolation. She's unusual enough to celebrate when her foster dad lost his job, their house and was close to fainting due to happiness when she heard her family was forced to move to her dad's hometown, Lake of the Woods, CA. She probably sent her dad's former company a hamper everyday to thank them for firing him.
See, Calla here, wants to live waking up every morning to the sound of birds, to the view of trees stretched up endlessly into the sky and spend her day wandering around a forest she claims as her own. Living in Lake of Woods and in a house next to her dream forest is close enough. Now, in these woods, Calla comes across something she never thought would ever cross her path- a wolf.
And it sure is one hell of a wolf.
