Blake Beddor hates his life, simply because he's living it. Absolutely no other reason. He just doesn't like to live, and he thinks everything is boring. His life has had some light in it, at least, after he met her. Arabella Laurent. She's a cheery girl who has always had beef with Blake, but like every other person, she has her own problems. Problems she would never dare tell anyone.

One beach house brings the two close. One incident brings Arabella to the brink of madness, and Blake to a confused state. He wishes to figure her out, after all, his curiosity about her life is his only reason for living. His fear of eternal pain and suffering is his only reason for living, and as they find out more about each other, they start feeling more comfortable. So comfortable, in fact, that it seems forbidden.
