Spindles Of Time: A Thread Of Cold Iron

A THREAD OF COLD IRON
The Spindles of Time - Book One
Three friends. One reckless ritual. A thousand years of separation.

As a postgraduate student of English history, Edith Finch thought she knew everything about the brutal, bloody era of the early Norse invasions. She never planned on living through it.

When an ancient Celtic ritual performed by her closest friend, Maeve, goes catastrophically wrong, the fabric of the Spindles unravels-scattering Edith, Maeve, and Rosalind across the corridors of time. Edith awakens not in modern comfort, but in the bleak mud and terror of 9th-century Northumbria, smack in the path of a Viking raid.

And right into the hands of Ivar Sigurdsson.

Towering, heavily scarred, and hardened by war, Ivar is a ruthless warrior who rules with steel and cold resolve. Edith is small, out of her depth, and desperate to find a way back to her own century and the friends she lost. But in a world where mercy is scarce, surviving means staying close to the very man she should fear most.

As the raw, intoxicating tension between them flares into an undeniable heat, Ivar slowly breaks down every defense Edith has left. But as history threatens to burn around them, Edith faces an impossible choice: mend the broken thread of time to get home, or surrender to the dangerous warrior who has claimed her heart.

Atmospheric, intensely romantic, and steamy, A Thread of Cold Iron begins The Spindles of Time trilogy.
