In the enchanted realm of Smiphia, every creature is born with a gift. But Dusk was born with something that should not exist, moth wings and a strange power over sound.

Shunned for her peculiarities, she finds an unlikely home when a mysterious professor takes her in as one of his assistants. For the first time, Dusk begins to believe she may have a place in the world.

Then something ancient comes searching for her.

A forgotten being, weakened by the passage of time, believes that a fragment of its own power was unknowingly given to Dusk long ago, and now it intends to reclaim what was lost.

As the creature closes in, Dusk begins to uncover fragments of a secret surrounding her birth, her mother, and a desperate wish made many years ago.
