Delilah Decker has never had an easy life.

Growing up, her mother struggled with a severe cocaine addiction while her father worked as a police officer. For years, Delilah lived between her mother's instability and her father's desperate attempts to hold their family together.

Eventually, Delilah began struggling with drugs herself. What started as partying and experimentation slowly became something darker. She began stealing money from her father to fund her addiction, hiding her relapses from everyone around her.

When her father discovered what she had been doing, they had a devastating argument. Her mother, high and unstable, intervened-and murdered her husband.

Then she turned on Delilah.

She stabbed her daughter in the back and nearly killed her.

Delilah survived.

She shouldn't have.

The scar from the attack remains across her back, a permanent reminder of the night she lost both of her parents. Her mother was arrested, convicted, and sentenced to life in prison.

Afterward, Delilah was taken in by her older cousin, Chloe Decker.

Chloe became the closest thing Delilah had to a stable home. She got her into therapy, helped her return to school, and did everything she could to give her cousin a chance at a normal life.

But Delilah's recovery isn't easy.

She's still a party girl. She loves music, dancing, late nights, and the freedom of Los Angeles. Unfortunately, parties also mean drugs-and cocaine remains her greatest weakness. Every relapse brings her dangerously close to becoming the person she fears she inherited from her mother.

The one place where Delilah can truly express herself without drugs, alcohol, or words is dance.

A gifted contemporary dancer, she uses movement to express everything she struggles to say aloud. When Delilah dances, there is no mask, no bravado, and no pretending that she's okay.

Then one night, after a relapse, Delilah ends up at Lux.

She expects nothing more than another night of forgetting.
