Wild and Free

Annabelle Cartwright was supposed to have an ordinary life.

She had a job, a family, a husband she was desperately trying to divorce, and absolutely no intention of getting tangled up with superheroes, assassins or vigilantes.

Then Thanos erased her from existence.

Five years later, Anna returns to a world that learned to live without her. Her marriage is finally over. Her old life is gone. And somehow, starting again takes her from Melbourne to New York.

There, Bucky Barnes becomes something she never expected.

Then Frank Castle turns up. Frank remembers Anna. He remembers exactly what kind of woman she is too. Clever, reckless, impossible to intimidate, and already far too familiar with dangerous men. He should know better than to get attached. He does it anyway.

One man backs away because she means too much. The other refuses to let go.

Somewhere between Avengers, assassins, vigilantes, old ghosts and spectacularly bad decisions, Anna's second chance at an ordinary life becomes anything but.

Because surviving Thanos was the easy part.
