Wild enough to stay - Little Puma

After the death of their mother, 18 year old Clara Harrison and her three brothers leave everything they know behind to build a new life on the Kansas prairie.

Clara has always understood horses better than people. She is stubborn, hardheaded, and far too quick to defend herself when someone tries to make her feel small. While her older brother Samuel believes it is time for Clara to settle down and find a husband, her brother Jesse reminds her of the freedom she secretly longs for. And when the world becomes too heavy, it is her youngest brother Eli who reminds her that she doesn't always have to be strong.

Then she meets Little Puma.

He is fiercely protective of his people and the land they call home, and he has little love for the settlers who continue to spread across the prairie. Clara should be someone he keeps his distance from. Instead, he finds himself drawn to the stubborn young woman who seems to fall down as often as she gets back up.

Some things are easier to tame than others.
And love was never meant to be.
