In the Crowd | MizuYang FF

A little note before we begin:
After all the recent hate surrounding the webtoon comic (and yes, I'll admit I've joined in) and the leak of Mizuki's K-pop skin, I decided it was finally time to write a little something for my beloved little Seaturtle community.
Consider this my contribution to keeping the ship alive.

Wuyang lives a life weighed down by his family's impossible expectations. He was never an obsessive fan, but Mizuki's music has always been an escape from reality. When he crosses paths with a masked stranger whose voice sounds strangely familiar after a concert, he doesn't scream or ask for a picture. Instead, he offers Mizuki exactly what he needs most: silence, normalcy, and a promise to keep his secret.

Mizuki belongs to the public. He has no privacy, no freedom, and every step he takes is controlled by his cold, manipulative manager, Shion. For the first time in years, Wuyang shows him the magic of the city after dark-and what it feels like to be loved as a person rather than a product.

Their secret relationship is beautiful, but fragile. As Mizuki's fame continues to grow, the grip of control around him tightens. Wuyang soon discovers that loving an idol means risking absolutely everything-and perhaps even losing himself along the way.

Can two people find a space meant only for them in a crowd of thousands, or is their love doomed to disappear before it ever truly begins?
