Summer Camp - JIARA -

JJ is a Pogue who has spent every summer at True North summer camp since he was seven years old. He started as a camper and now works there as a counselor.

Kiara is a Kook who is forced to spend the summer away from home after her parents catch her smoking weed with her boyfriend, Rafe. As punishment, they send her to True North to work as a camp counselor, keeping her away from Rafe and her friends for the entire summer.

JJ and Kiara have crossed paths back home but have never been friends. They come from completely different sides of the island, and JJ sees Kiara as a Kook princess while Kiara knows him as the troublemaking Pogue who is always getting into trouble.

Neither expects to see the other at camp, but they are assigned cabins that work together, forcing them to spend the summer around each other. What starts as constant bickering, teasing, and cabin prank wars slowly turns into an unexpected friendship. As they spend more time together, they begin seeing sides of each other they never knew existed.

But Kiara has a boyfriend waiting for her back home, and as the summer goes on, she begins questioning whether her relationship with Rafe is what she really wants and whether the Pogue she couldn't stand might become the person she can't live without.
