Clover Pine is still living their best life. Well, as normal of a best life as they could be as a non-binary ice powered part-time superhero in a relationship with one of the most famous people in the U.S, Sam Wilson. After a distasterous visit to the White House, Clover has to do everything they can to help Sam prevent an international war by stopping a mind controlling mastermind who may have played a hand in the night they were nearly killed. Meanwhile, in the heat of an ongoing investigation, Congressman Bucky Barnes and his girlfriend Maria Petrova are forced to make unlikely alliances in order to stop an even greater threat. A threat that will also force them to confront their darkest memories.

None of them are aware of an even greater force that threatens them, their loved ones, and their very world.
