Where Blackbird Flies

Regulus Black was a closed door. James Potter had never been particularly good at taking a hint. Everyone knows Regulus as the boy who keeps his distance. James knows him differently. Or at least, he wants to.
Somewhere between the arguments and the laughter, the late nights and the things neither of them says, James finds himself standing on the other side of a door Regulus never meant to open. James only knows that every time Regulus tells him to go away, he finds another reason to stay.
