Before you say "I Do"

The mikaelson family and the Claire family go way back. Their parents were best friends growing up in the same town in New Orleans, still are.
But there's some twists to this story. Hayley Marshall from the show will be Davina's older sister, so she'll be known as Hayley Claire.

So basically-a few years back, Kol and Davina had been in a relationship. When Davina was 16 and Kol 17. It ended when Davina was 20, Kol 21.
Davina had moved out of New Orleans and to New York to start her career just before she had turned 21, New York is where she had met Kaleb. but a few months ago, she decided to move back home. She hadn't seen or heard from Kol since she left, too terrified to try. She truly loved him, but he broke her heart. She still talks with the other members of the Mikaelson family from time to time, especially Rebekah. Davina, Rebekah and Hayley are best friends.

When Davina returns home, she doesn't come empty handed. She comes bearing her newly fiance, Kaleb, to meet her family.

Fast forward to present time at Kaleb and Davina's wedding. Kol was forced to go by his family of course, even though he dreaded the thought of seeing her with another man.

Their families, especially Kol's never noticed just how serious their relationship was, and how heartbreaking it was when Kol ended it.

So, when she had returned, she knew she'd run into Kol sooner or later, but she thought the sooner, the better, so she had went to see him when she first moved back.

Davina ended up sleeping with Kol one drunken night two months ago, and completely regretted it because she was engaged to Kaleb.

Now fast forward again to present time, Davina and Kaleb's wedding. The whole time, Davina drank nothing but water, didn't even touch the alcohol. The champagne, the wine, nothing. Kol secretly noticed that.
