Before I Choose You

Before I Choose You is a contemporary romance about learning that love isn't simply about finding the right person. Sometimes, it's about learning who you are before you're ready to choose someone again.

After years of a complicated relationship that left her questioning her own worth, Monica returns to the Philippines with one goal: build a life that belongs to her.
She isn't looking for another relationship.

Then she meets Julian, an architect whose quiet attentiveness, dry humor, and steady presence slowly become part of her everyday life.

Julian isn't perfect. He overplans. He tries to solve problems on his own. He sometimes forgets that relationships aren't architectural blueprints that can be fixed with enough preparation.

But he pays attention.

He remembers.

And, most importantly, he stays.

As Monica learns that silence doesn't always mean abandonment and Julian learns that he doesn't have to carry everything alone, the two begin building something neither expected: a life that feels safe enough to call home.

But loving someone isn't the same as choosing them once.

It means choosing them through ordinary mornings, difficult conversations, stupid arguments, growing pains, and uncertain futures.

Because before Monica can choose Julian, she has to learn how to choose herself.
And before Julian can build a home with her, he has to learn that a home isn't something you design alone.

It's something you build together.
