Sometimes the best summers are the ones you never planned.

I came to Barcelona for one simple reason:

to get away from everything.

A few weeks by the sea.
Sunshine.
Late nights.
Good food.
No responsibilities.

Just my best friend and me, trying to make the most out of a summer that was supposed to be completely uneventful.

At least, that's what I thought.

Because somewhere between crowded streets, beach days, football games and nights that lasted way longer than they should have, I met people I never expected to become part of my life.

Including Pau Cubarsí.

What started as a completely random encounter slowly turns into something neither of us really knows how to handle.

And just when I think I finally understand what this summer is becoming, everything gets a little more complicated.

Friendships change.

Secrets come out.

Feelings get harder to ignore.

And suddenly, going home doesn't feel as easy as it was supposed to.

Maybe Barcelona was never just supposed to be a holiday.

Maybe some people are only meant to enter your life for one summer.

Or maybe-

some summers are only the beginning.
