Óliver has never known fate to be kind. He lost an eye in an accident when he was younger, his parents presumedly dumped him at an orphanage, and he probably has the worst luck in the universe. And after he and his friend Hrafn mistakingly break their grumpy neighbor, old Hemdall's window, his whole world turns around and spits him out. Turns out Óli is in fact the lost son of Odin, king of the Norse gods, who are indeed, more real than you may have previously thought. Odin has a problem, someone has stolen his spear Gunigar, and three of his familiars have gone missing. Diðrik, son of a dark elf, has fashioned a poisonous dagger from the icy water of the disgusting river Elivagar, and plans to use to kill the daughter of Thor, so that the upcoming Ragnarok may be stooped. Óli is torn between saving a beautiful girl and pleasing his newfound father, who can not interfere according to the ancient rules. Óliver will have to trust fate, or die trying. ©Copyright AwsomeDragons
