On the tiny island of Weatherny, an entire community prays to save a dying fisherman. Their faith, their potential, produces the miracle they desired.

From across the sea, an empire has begun a crusade to claim such potential at any cost.

An invasion scatters the people of Weatherny across a world of warring empires, ancient beings, and powers mistaken for miracles. An invader begins to question the empire she serves. A directionless young man is carried farther from home than he ever imagined.

Hanging above is the threat, a reminder for all to see. The dark star reaches down toward its master, long imprisoned on the surface of the planet. It wants only one thing: freedom, whatever the cost to the people of Tia. To face what's coming, they will have to discover that the power they've sought has been within them all along.
