Cali Shiba wished to escape the gangster lifestyle she was born into. As the Black Dragon's heir, she's somewhat expected to carry on the legacy and continue the war she never wanted to be a part of, becoming involved in Toman and Tenjiku's gang conflict.

But everything changes when Cali becomes involved with 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧, the notorious criminal organization led by Sano Manjiro, a man she once admired.

Cali wishes to distance herself from Bonten and her past, but as she becomes more involved with the gang the more that she escapes, and it appears that fate has other plans. Cali's ability to travel back in time accounts for this.

But she finds herself drawn to people she wants to avoid, especially Ran Haitani, the man she has spent her entire life resenting.

When the Black Dragon labels Cali as a traitor, she finds herself in an unwelcome relationship with Ran, from which she believes she can't escape. She wonders if returning to the past will allow her to change her situation.

Stopping the Bonten, putting an end to the betrayal, and rescuing those who are in danger of being drawn into the underworld.
