25-year-old Eva Ferrer has had her luck turned upside down the moment her ex-fiancé, boy-band star wannabe Eduardo called off their wedding. So she did what anyone else would do. A long-term escape to where she was born.

Eva's been living with her grandparents for a few months. Driving her grandfather's lemon of a Lincoln towncar, La Reina.

But things take an unexpected turn when La Reina gets her tail busted by the driver behind Eva on a busy avenue.

And now her grandfather doesn't trust her anymore.

To make it even worse, the guy who wrecked La Reina is none other than Javier Morales, the groom's opera singing cousin and Best Man.

To make matters worse he's the best man and Eva has to sing the Ave Maria with him in a duet. How can she sing next to the man that is the reason why her grandfather has waged war on her? And who sounds like an absolute god?
