Casually Unfortunate

For three years, Morgana Weasley and Cedric Diggory have been everything except official.

Shared scarves. Saved seats. Quidditch matches. Hogsmeade weekends. Lingering looks neither of them dared explain. Everyone at Hogwarts seemed to know what they were to each other-except them.

Then summer comes and goes without a single letter.

When Morgana returns to Hogwarts expecting things to fall back into place, Cedric is waiting on Platform Nine and Three-Quarters with someone new beside him.

His girlfriend, Cho Chang.

Determined not to interfere, Morgana begins pulling away from the boy she's quietly loved for years. No more stealing his scarf. No more waiting for him after practice. No more pretending that whatever existed between them was enough.

And then Elias Sallow arrives at Hogwarts.

Where Cedric hesitates, Elias speaks. Where Cedric leaves Morgana wondering, Elias makes his intentions perfectly clear.

Suddenly, Cedric is forced to confront something he should have realized long ago:

Morgana Weasley was never casual.

And if he waits much longer to tell her, she might finally belong to someone who doesn't make her guess.
