THE THINGS WE KEEP
Jake Finch has always been good at keeping things to himself.
His sexuality. His feelings. The things he doesn't know how to say out loud.
At school, Jake has his small circle of friends, good grades and a life that seems perfectly under control. At least, that's what he tells himself.
Then there's Simon Finnell.
Simon is everything Jake can't stand: loud, carefree, annoyingly positive and somehow always around when Jake wants him gone. The two couldn't be more different, and Jake is convinced that they'll never get along.
But the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes for Jake to ignore the little things he notices about Simon.
A friendship begins to change. Secrets become harder to keep. And Jake slowly realizes that some things are easier to hide than others.
Because sometimes, the things we keep to ourselves are the things that matter the most.
