Night's Embrace

Before the legend. Before the guild. Before she even had a name. There was just a girl, and a city that never once looked twice. She built an empire out of nothing, but nothing had to start somewhere.
She can't recall a single face from before the streets. There's no one left to ask, and there never really was. On the streets, secrets are worth more than coin, and staying alive means staying invisible. Survival, she learns, has its rules: don't be seen, don't be caught - and above all, don't be known.
She's learned to live by that rule, though rules like that can only keep a girl alive - they can't keep her safe forever, and they certainly can't keep her small.
The city hasn't seen what she'll become. Not yet.
This is where it begins: a girl with no name, and a city that never once looked twice. This is the story of everything she built to make sure the world never forgot her - how a girl no one looked twice at turned nothing into something, secrets into trust, and an empty city into a kingdom out of shadows and second chances. This is the long road to becoming Nymera.
