Novaris: The Chronicle of Valyn

Princess Myriah Korvax has never been particularly good at following the rules.

Even at fourteen, the headstrong heir to the Korvax Empire would rather explore forbidden corners of the palace than listen to lectures about royal etiquette. So, after a heated argument with her parents, the young princess retreats into the forgotten basement levels of the Imperial Palace, only to stumble upon something far more fascinating than a simple escape route.

An old chest.

One filled with the private journals of her late great-grandmother, Empress Valyn Korvax.

Written decades earlier, the journals detail the extraordinary life of a woman Myriah thought she knew. From a fearless young princess discovering that she can fly, to a rebellious teenager exploring the streets of the imperial capital, the life of Valyn Korvax is filled with adventure, romance, ambition, and danger.

However, ruling an empire comes with a price.

Valyn's rise to the throne forces her to confront the harsh truths of political conspiracies, ruthless noble families, devastating loss, and the burden of keeping an empire united. All while she falls in love, becomes a mother, loses everything she holds dear, and ultimately makes a decision that will change the Korvax dynasty forever.

As Myriah turns each page, she begins to uncover a family history filled with secrets, sacrifice, and choices that helped shape the world she inherited.

And perhaps the greatest secret of all is still waiting in the final pages.
