***In the continuing story of the Buckingham Nicks Alternate Universe***
It's April of 1996, and Stevie and Lindsey are about to embark on an adventure together - a vacation over Spring Break in which the entire Buckingham family and the entire McVie family converge on a rented house in Hawaii near the Fleetwood family for a long-overdue epic reunion. Of course, it wouldn't be a Buckingham Nicks family tale without drama...
Despite the laid back atmosphere and fun that Hawaii has always brought them over the years, Stevie and Lindsey must confront a few issues on the trip - the awkwardness surrounding the state of Fleetwood Mac, the perils of parenthood as their oldest child makes a stunning decision about her plans after graduation, the growing possibility of a reunion between long-divorced Christine and John, and news of the impending demise of another couple in their family circle.
Nevertheless, they are Buckingham Nicks, and as the title song suggests, they can always find a way to work through their conflicts and enjoy how "the finer things keep shining through."

Essentially, I wanted to create a series of oneshots based on real-life media of Buckingham Nicks over the years. Each chapter will tell a different story, mimicking what we know for sure happened and what I believe happened before and after. If you'd like, send me any videos, pictures, or interviews that you love, and I'll work them into the story!
Buckingham Nicks One-Shots
A book of one-shots about Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham
Frozen Love
For the fans, it began as a single Instagram post, a picture of a single line written in her handwriting... "...and if you go forward..." Moments later, another post, the following line, written in his... "I'll meet you there." For Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, however, it was so much more than just two lines from a decades-old song. It was the start of something neither of them could ever have imagined, neither one of them were planning on...but still something they couldn't ignore. When the Buckingham Nicks album's long-awaited reissue was announced, 52 years after the its original release, both Stevie and Lindsey were perfectly happy to abandon their rift and replace the silent treatment with a mature and civil understanding, a burying of the hatchet that began with the death of Christine McVie and the reality that life is short and neither of them were getting any younger. However, it didn't take long before that civility and reverence for their shared history turned into something more, something much deeper... ... something akin to a second (well, a hundredth) chance to grow old together the way they dreamed of decades earlier, when they sang those two lines into a microphone and meant every word. This is the story of the reunion of a lifetime, and a love story that proves it is never too late to have it all...no matter how many years your love has been frozen.Kumpleto
Once Upon a Time
When Stevie Nicks begins reading a bedtime story about a prince and princess who once loved each other, an old fairy tale becomes a journey through the past, slowly revealing what happened when, after years apart, the prince and princess unexpectedly found their way back into each other's lives. Disclaimer: All chapter intro lyrics belong entirely to sombr and are included purely because they couldn't be more fitting for their story. Frankly, even Lindsey Buckingham himself couldn't have written songs more perfectly suited to their history.
