My family and I never stayed in one place for more than a year, I've seen more of the world in my short time than most people will see in their entire lives. Because of that I've never had a chance to make friends or be a true kid. Music and Books were my escape, my safe haven. When my dad told me we were moving again I expected the same old routine. I wasn't expecting much, but I never would have expected my life to take a turn like this...

Drugs they make me feel alive, I love the highs even the lows of how drugs make me feel, but I have doubts about life maybe that's because I feel lifeless inside. She must decide if she should give up her parents wishes and marry the one they chose, or go her own way, and pave her own path with a choice she never dreamed of. ❌❌❌❌ I began editing this book to change some major things, but I realized too much will have to be changed. Many things do not line up, mainly due to the fact that I wrote this right when I started out and was completely immature. Then again, I want to move on, run away from the heart break following me. I want to be free, I need to be free. For everything that I know, college could be a restart for highschool. A time where I don't make mistakes or where bad things don't happen, but I know they will. Though focusing on the negative won't lead me anywhere. Sadly though, that's all I ever learned to focus on. They say what's in the past keep it in the past but I wanted to know all about my past. It was things that I didn't know and that I wanted and needed to know! But my life turned upside down when my past is exactly what I should have left alone. Now if you ask me how it all began, I don't exactly remember but I know it started when I moved in with my grandma who I haven't met in all my twenty years of living. I have been in and out of foster homes since I can remember, living with families I knew nothing about. Being the outcast and them constantly asking me what's wrong because I simply did not speak. The only thing that kept me sane was my good grades throughout school. I got the satisfaction of doing the one thing that people kept telling me over and over I couldn't do. I stayed to myself and graduated high school with honors, getting a full-ride scholarship to any college of my choice. Of course, by having this accomplishment, it didn't make it any easier for me between my foster families. To them, I became the girl who was better than them. But I didn't care because when I turned twenty I finally got to start making my own choices. This is where I wonder if the first choice I made was the right one.
