The sun was beating down on me, my skin absorbing every single ray. Sweat dripped down my face, neck and shoulder blades, staining everything in its path. My legs worked in over time, trying to catch the beautiful boy in front of me. My body was starting to tell me it was time to toss the old running shoes in the closet, and go home to a wonderful place to relax. My heart wouldn’t let me though; my heart truly belonged to this track. Something always drives me to go faster, push harder, to do better, and I guess I just never really knew what it was until I met him.
Isabel Griffin, is the girl you yearn to be in High School.
