And sometimes, words are salvation.

He is stuck. He is helpless to his dysfunctional family. He is smothered by his demanding girlfriend. His lips are sealed. He doesn't know how it is to feel heard.

She is shy. She buries herself in the strings of her guitar in her room at night. She feels small and unimportant. She doesn't speak unless spoken to. She is trapped.
