Every Life After Yours

Elio has always thought nightmares were just nightmares.

Lately, they've been anything but.

They begin with fragments-blood, unfamiliar places, a boy he's never met, and a voice that somehow feels like something he has known forever.

Then Sebastian walks into his life.
Or rather, Elio walks into his.

Sebastian is a History major who seems determined to stay as far away from him as possible. He changes routes, avoids sitting near him, and somehow always finds an excuse to leave whenever Elio gets too close.

Elio has no idea why.

He only knows that the more he sees Sebastian, the more his dreams change.

And the strangest part?

The boy from his nightmares looks exactly like him.

Sebastian knows something Elio doesn't.
Something about the dreams.
Something about the past.
Something about the fact that this isn't their first life together.

Because Sebastian has found Elio before.

Twice.

And both times, he watched him die.

Now Elio is back.

And Sebastian has no intention of letting history repeat itself.

But some things are not so easily escaped.

Not even death.

How many times can you lose the same person before you stop believing it's a coincidence?
