In 1989, a pod crashes in the Mojave. Inside is a 3-year-old boy with copper-brown skin, wild spiky black hair, and a single monkey tail. SHIELD designates him Asset S-01.

He is not raised. He is forged.

In the same Siberian bunker that broke the Winter Soldier, Hikaru Kensei is trained by Taskmaster, sparred against Black Widow, and taught right from wrong by Steve Rogers. He learns every martial art in two days and invents his own on the third. He thinks helicarrier cannons are fun games. He loves to fight more than anything in the universe.

For 13 years, SHIELD keeps the Sun in a box.

At age 16, his limiters read KIN - EVACUATE THE FACILITY.

Now, for his first surface mission, they're letting him out.

A super-soldier fanfic / origin story. A Saiyan child raised as SHIELD's ultimate black-level asset. Tactical royal armor, gravity bracers, an armored tail, and a kid who was taught that world-ending threats are just sparring partners.

He's not Captain America. He's not Bucky.
