What the Fire Forgot | Zuko

Lira was ten years old when the Fire Nation came for her.

Her crime was simple: she could bend more than one element.

Suspected of being the missing Avatar, she was taken to a prison that officially did not exist, given the number Eighty-Four, and forgotten when the real Avatar returned. Twelve years later, the war is over, Ozai is gone, and Fire Lord Zuko is rebuilding a nation that has no idea she is still there.

Neither does he.

Until an attack tears open a prison that was never meant to be found and Lira steps into a world she hasn't seen since she was a child.

Freedom, it turns out, is complicated. So is discovering that the new Fire Lord isn't anything like his father.

And Lira's strange relationship with the four elements may be far more important than anyone realised.
