Willow Mercer has spent three years building a life no one else gets to choose for her.

Then a midnight ghost hunt goes horribly wrong.

What starts as Willow dragging Roux along for something he doesn't believe in leaves them tangled in questions neither of them can answer. And when the family Willow walked away from finally finds her in Tolland with an unwanted marriage and plans for a future she never chose, Roux finds himself getting involved in something that has fuck-all to do with him.

Except walking away from Willow is becoming increasingly difficult.

Willow knows falling for her brother's best friend could destroy one of the most important relationships in his life. Roux knows getting between Willow and the future her family has planned for her is asking for trouble.
