A Kakashi x Reader Story

They already know what their future could look like.

Now they have to live long enough to reach it.

Months have passed since Y/N joined Team 7, and everything has changed. The once-reluctant partnership between Y/N and Kakashi has finally become something neither of them can deny. After months of growing closer, the two are officially together-even if Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke make sure they never get a moment of peace about it.

Team 7 has changed too.

They're stronger, more experienced, and far more dangerous than the group of genin Y/N first met. As new missions and enemies push them further than ever before, the bond between the five of them becomes something deeper than teacher and students.

They've become a family.

But there is one future none of them can forget.

Ren.

The teenage son who traveled seventeen years into the past. The boy with Kakashi's techniques and Y/N's lavender eyes. The son who revealed that one day Kakashi and Y/N would build a life together-and that one day, Y/N would be gone.

Years pass.
