THE 3X STORY

Before the platinum records, sold-out arenas, scandals, arrests, dangerous men, and enough secrets to destroy an empire, Nia Monroe, Taj Reynolds, and Eden "Edie" Banks were just three young Black women trying to make it. Under the ruthless guidance of legendary manager Darnell Carter, they become 3X-the biggest girl group of their generation. Beautiful, talented, inseparable, and increasingly powerful, the girls quickly learn that making it to the top is one thing. Surviving what happens once everybody wants a piece of you is another.

Set against the glitter, excess, music, sex, and chaos of the 2000s, THE 3X STORY follows three best friends as fame turns into money, money turns into power, and power opens doors they may eventually wish had stayed closed. Behind every perfect performance is another secret, another lover, another enemy, and another decision Darnell can't clean up forever. Everybody remembers 3X. This is the part they were never supposed to know.
