Winter locks the high ridge in white silence.
Donald, a solitary park ranger, spends months alone in a remote fire-watch tower, cut off from the world below. His only company is the radio-until one night a calm female voice cuts through the static on a forgotten channel.

She never gives her name. She only listens. And she understands the kind of loneliness that settles deep in the bones.

As a brutal storm seals the tower shut, their nightly talks grow intimate. The voice becomes the one warm thing left in the dark. Then Donald tells her his name... and she answers with secrets no stranger should know: his address, his wife's wedding vows, the smallest details of a life he thought he left behind in the valley.
