The world is hardly ever what it seems. We have seen our heroes fight monsters, gods, titans, and even the very Earth itself. But, there were rules and procedures to be followed. There were prophecies that defined the path to victory. Now the enemy has no limits, no safeties, no restraints. Or Mortals aren't as blind and powerless as the gods seem to think... This is a completed story in told alternating POVs with Percy, Nico, Jason, and Piper being the main focus. The first several chapters are a bit rough, but my writing improved as it progresses. I will edit the early chapters to better match the quality of the later chapters when I have some spare time. This is not a story you should approach lightly, as there are numerous triggers including, but not limited to: blood, torture, death, and attempted suicide.

Anyway, this book will get a new chapter announcing when the rewritten version is up. Percy X Apollo Percy Jackson is tired. Of everything. He and Annabeth broke up after the fall into Tartarus, neither being able to look at the other the same way. Sure, they stayed friends, but that doesn't make Percy feel any better about it. Some of the gods are concerned, but Zeus is forbidding them from checking in on him, intent on leaving demigods alone despite all they've done for the Olympians. Apollo, however, is ignoring this order. He cares a little too much about Percy to watch him suffer in silence. But when a new threat arises, how will the Olympians handle it? How will the demigods handle it? This is very all over the place, but I think it turned out well in the end. In this story, Nico is overprotective of Percy (still solangelo though) as a best friend. He's forgiven Percy for the whole ordeal about Bianca and now they're pretty close, both confiding in each other about things they never thought they'd tell a soul. The ships are: Pipabeth - Piper + Annabeth Chrisse - Clarisse + Chris Solangelo - Nico + Will Jaleo (platonic) - Jason + Leo because I despise Caleo sorry lmao Perpollo - Percy + Apollo I do not own any of these characters, all rights are to Rick Riordan other than the storyline/plot.
