Descent of the Primals

Zann Locks believed this new life would be different from the last... No more being left behind... No more struggling alone... No more losing family... This time he would keep all he cherishes and no longer would he die alone in his mid-thirties in a lonely bedroom all because he drowned in the grief of losing everyone around him.

However... fate is quite cruel indeed... at the young age of 10, Zann lost his new parents when monsters invaded their city and attacked it's citizens.

Fueled with a seething need for vengeance against those that took their family, Zann's elder brother Owen enrolls in Southeast Raiders Academy to become a Raider that slays monsters and raids their nests.

Possessing the Gift of Swordsman, Owen quickly becomes a highly renowned prodigy sought after by the high-ranking guilds of the Kingdom and beyond.

Shortly after Owen's graduation, he suddenly vanishes leaving no traces behind. Years pass after this making the world believe the young prodigy must've perished due to some unknown cause.

Now 15 years old, the reincarnated Zann Locks chooses to leave home in search of clues of his last remaining family... Owen.

As a JRPG fan from his previous life and knowing that this world's supernatural powers and setting resemble RPG games from his previous life, Zann is prepared to do whatever means necessary to find out the truth of what really happened to his brother.

Abandoning his surname of Locks and taking up his mother's maiden name of Brandale, Zann sets off towards Southeast Raiders Academy.

Unbeknownst to him though... entities from beyond the realm have taken notice of his journey... Ones whom he was familiar with from his previous life... Will his actions gain their favor... or will they bring about greater challenges instead?

Such as the boy's journey while facing the Primals.
