Adeline Montgomery is not your typical 17 year old girl. While her classmates are out on Friday nights partying and doing God know what else, Addie is sitting in the hospital beside her mother's bed. She has spent every weekend beside her unconscious mother for the past six months. With that being said, she spends an hour every Tuesday and Thursday in support group, or as Adeline calls it, Hell. Her life began this downward spiral half a year ago, in an accident that changed her life for the worst.
Now here she is, half a year later, still on anti-depressants and still looking for a new purpose to live.
When Owen Lancaster, your typical sports babe that all the girls swoon over, takes a sudden interest in Adeline's life, things start to look up. She talks a little more, frowns a little less, and bit by bit sheds the wall she built around her heart.
The only problem is daddy doesn't approve of this new distraction in his little girl's life. Will Adeline take her life back with Owen by her side, or will she be forced continue through high school alone? All the answers you crave are just around the page.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
