What defines a person? Who defines them? Is it us?
Maybe we aren't supposed to know. Maybe we aren't supposed to decide. In every individual life, the same person appears different. To one, there is good; to another, there is evil. Perhaps we can't limit people to these boxes-or to our own perspectives.
In life, we will see potential and we will see failure, but aren't they two sides of the same coin? In one universe, one might succeed; in another, they might fail.
Are they the same person?
Are we the same person?
And yet, every time I open my eyes, these questions flood my mind. The same names, the same smiles, the same faces... but never quite the same. The relationships I've built and known crumble in a second, while new ones rise from the ashes.
Throughout these many, many lives, I'm asked to forget everything I know. I can't trust my-selves, nor can I trust my experiences; yet I'm thankful that I am not alone... I have me, myself, and I.
