The blood ocean

Evangeline, a half-human, half-mermaid with extraordinary blood, never expected to become the key to saving an ancient underwater kingdom-or to fall in love with the powerful vampire who once sought her blood for his own gain.

When Eric Northman discovers Eva's secret, their dangerous bargain slowly becomes something neither of them expected: love. Together, they uncover her forgotten heritage as a Daughter of the First Tide and awaken an ancient mermaid city lost beneath the sea.

With Eric's growing power and Eva's courage, they protect her people from those who would hunt them, allowing the merpeople to reclaim their ancestral home. Now Eva lives between two worlds, watching over the ocean with Eric at her side-finally home both on land and beneath the waves.
