Friends by Fate

First chapter 11/09/2026, weekly updates.

This story is a mix of F.R.I.E.N.D.S., How I Met Your Mother, and New Girl.

Some people become your friends.

Some become your family.

And some become the reason you finally confront the parts of yourself you've spent years running from.

Six young adults. Six different lives. Six stories that were never supposed to intertwine.

Between old wounds, new love, secrets that refuse to stay buried and friendships that become something deeper, they're all learning the same thing:

You can't outrun your past forever.

---

*"You really love him."*

Tessa's eyes remain glassy.

"I do."

It is the first time she's admitted it out loud.

Maeve smiles.

"Then tell him."

Tessa laughs through the tears.

"I'd rather die."

---

They'll fall in love.

They'll break each other's hearts.

They'll make mistakes.

And somehow, they'll find their way back to each other.

It starts with the ghost of Apartment 65.
