The Letter- Oneshot

They hadn't talked for what felt like months, no call, no note, no hint.

Liv was getting restless, unable to sleep, unable to think about the one unanswered question: 'Where is Elliot?'

It seemed to be impossible for her to work these cases without him sitting opposite her, without his company and as much as Fin and Munch tried to keep her mind off it, the intense feeling of foreboding wouldn't go away. Something bad already happened. The shooting was terrible and it must've been traumatic for him- no wonder he's went missing, he's hiding from the world. Olivia knew that he couldn't open up to Kathy or the kids about it because they wouldn't know how to help him and they wouldn't understand either so the only person he had was her.

So writing a letter to him seemed harmless, she had to do something.

But could it have made the fall harsher?

"How am I going to write this? I don't write letters to anyone, and especially not to you. I don't normally need to write letters to people in the hopes that they will reply because most people answer their damn phones...but you've left me no other choice.

So, hi."
